HBW formerly known as HairBowsWonderworld, was founded in 2008 by Manchester based maker, Lien.

Lien (A.K.A Lynn of HairBowsWonderworld), had owned and run HairBowsWonderworld  – a successful handmade wedding store on Etsy – for 5 years before realizing her dream of launching her own website. Check out all the 5 star reviews for her shop here   . However with this website she could have better access to and interactions with her customers, spreading the love for true handmade crafts and sharing her experiences through free craft tutorials and style advice on her blog.
Running this small family business, Lien tends to build close relationships with customers, so that each customer is cared for with tailor-made service. “My customers are like my friends,” says Lien “…Many of them stay in touch over the years and it is great to see their lives and families evolve over time.”
Lien works with all sorts of materials but she has a weakness for heirloom vintage gems which she collects individually as a hobby and then goes on to use them for her brides. She is inspired by beautiful things all around her and strives for uniqueness in design, crafting with the most superb quality materials.
Visit the shop  to check out her collections made with the finest vintage heirloom brooches and beads, Swarovski crystals and rhinestones, fresh water pearls, silk, lace, feathers and much more, each piece crafted with love and built to last.
Lien is especially passionate about custom orders because she strongly believes her brides know best what look they want to achieve on their wedding days. The right communication and attention to details means just about anything can be achieved. To discuss what you need, drop her a line and she will get back to you as soon as she possibly can, usually within a few hours.
